Carrie Jones has moved from Manchester United to Leicester City on a season-long loan deal. Man Utd see the forward as being part of their future, but they believe the time with Leicester will be great for Carrie’s development as a player.
Ellie Leek scored in the second half of Blackburn Rovers 2-0 pre-season victory at home to Huddersfield Town. Ellie started the match, was substituted and then returned to the fray to grab the winner. Lauren Thomas was a half-time substitute for Blackburn and twice came very close to getting onto the scoresheet herself.
